Manganese nitride is the pretreatment of manganese products at high temperatures to infiltrate nitrogen into manganese products, in which manganese and nitrogen can replace nickel in stainless steel. Ferromanganese nitride is mainly used as an additive for nitrogen special steel or stainless steel production, which can improve the mechanical properties of steel such as improve strength, increase creep pressure resistance and corrosion resistance,refine the grain and stabilise austenite.
Application
Ferromanganese nitride is an essential alloying agent of the production of special alloy steel, stainless steel, and heat-resistant steel as well as automotive, shipbuilding, aviation industry materials.
Nitrided ferro manganese can improve the hardness and other mechanical properties, refine the grain, and expand the austenite zone.
Nitrided ferro manganese can replace nickel (nickel is expensive), which reduces the cost of steel production.
